Hi, I'm Hannah – welcome to my site!
Before working with someone, I think it's really important to get to know them. So here's a little about what's brought me here and why I care so much about what I do.
My passion for charity and social enterprise started young. From organising Children in Need fundraisers (including some questionable fancy dress choices!) to putting together school events, newsletters and even our Year 11 prom – I've always loved bringing people together.
As a teenager, I was heavily involved with Bradford Community Broadcasting (BCB), hosting a weekly radio show and supporting youth events in the community. That experience shaped my love for community work and gave me the confidence to connect with people from all walks of life.
During my gap year, I spent time in Ghana working in a children's home – an experience that still means so much to me today. While there, I helped care for the children and, with support from people back home, raised over £1000 to provide much-needed beds, toys and equipment. It remains one of my proudest moments.
Over the past 12 years, I've continued to channel this passion through organising charity events, fundraising initiatives and community activities. I've also been involved with Rotary, supporting projects such as Leeds Children's Charity at Lineham Farm, fundraising events and youth competitions.
My professional background includes customer service, complaints, compliance and process improvement. After having my daughter, Poppy, in 2018, I set up my own photography business to create a better work/life balance – something I feel strongly about. I've built this into a successful, accessible business with over 200 five-star reviews.
In 2020, I set up a Mutual Aid group in Brigg during the pandemic, supporting people with shopping and everyday essentials. This quickly grew into a food bank, which later became part of Oikos-Brigg, where I now serve as Food Bank Manager...
And that now leads me to the present.
I partner with charities to strengthen their foundations, sharpen their strategies, and unlock new possibilities for growth and impact.
I support charities, CICs, social enterprises and community groups to start, grow and thrive.
My work focuses on project development, bid writing, community engagement and strengthening how organisations operate – helping turn ideas into sustainable, real-world impact.
Alongside my consultancy, I'm hands-on in the sector. I manage a busy food bank and community projects supporting over 150 households each month, and work closely with partners to deliver practical, people-focused support.
I'm Chair of The Wharfedale Foundation, a Parent Governor, and actively involved in local and youth initiatives. I also support organisations with funding, strategy and growth – including hospice work and emerging community projects.
With a background in compliance, customer experience and process improvement, I bring structure, clarity and a results-focused approach – alongside a genuine passion for community and making things happen.
